Pastor Emery Scott Lee

Emery Scott Lee is one of eleven children born to the late Artie C. Lee and the late Armealie B. Lee in Louisville Kentucky. Emery accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord at the Lampton Baptist Church at the age of seven (1968), appointed and ordained as a Deacon in 1994, and further received his calling into the ministry in December 1995 (initial sermon March 1996) under Dr. James E Miller. Rev. Emery Lee is the President and Founder of No More Limits Ministries, Inc., a community ministry that provides pastoral counseling in the areas of pre-marital and relationship counseling, wedding and marriage services, and special project development and events planning.
No More Limits Ministries, Inc. is an officially chartered and recognized ministry under the International World Christian Ministries, where Rev. Lee is an ordained Pastor and holds an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity. In 2016, No More Limits Christian Church was founded as a community church in the heart of Louisville’s Shawnee community and continues to serve throughout Louisville. For his formal education, Emery is a graduate of Jeffersontown High School in Louisville, KY, as well as a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. While attending Eastern Kentucky University he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Radio Broadcasting where he managed and performed as an Urban Contemporary Music Director for the Campus Radio Station. Emery also obtained his Masters Degree in Student Personnel and Counseling in 1992. He currently has completed his course work and remains dissertation status toward completion of his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Spalding University.
Emery holds several honors and awards, which includes being a past recipient as a Chestnut Street YMCA Adult Black Achiever Award, recognized in the National “Who’s Who” in America for Outstanding Leadership, a Commissioned Kentucky Colonel under Governor Patton, a graduate of the National Association of African American Leadership, and in 1999 commissioned to the Governors State Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Commission, where he served as a member and the Commission Chair until 2009.

For his community activities, Emery has worked with various youth programs and organization, including the Lincoln Foundations Whitney YOUNG Scholars Program, the Service for Peace Volunteer Services Organization, The Fuller Center for Housing, the Shawnee Transitional Youth Coalition, Founder and Past President the Louisville Metro Dollars for Scholars, and for several years Emery also served as a co-host on the local WLOU call-in radio show called “Community Connection” on 1350 WLOU with Paris Anderson where he presented topics on relationships, education, workforce development, and spiritual edification. Pastor Emery currently works as the Executive Director for the Center of Hope with the Salvation Army, Louisville Area Command, after a long career as a Sales Executive for WLOU and WLLV Radio station, along with serve other professional positions in the community.
Through the love of music, ministry, youth development and a commitment to servant leadership, Pastor Emery Lee strives to proclaim the Good News of God’s love, to help others encounter a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to lead them in a spirit of praise and worship for His tender mercies and loving kindness, and to nurture spiritual development and community ministry involvement throughout the world.
